About Us
ProActive was started by three clinicians who had been practicing in the Portland area for over ten years for a corporate healthcare company. We had a vision that said physical therapy could be practiced with focus upon patient care, and superior outcomes, all with outrageous customer service. We started ProActive in October 2002 to serve that need in the Portland metropolitan area. We opened clinics in Oregon City and Canby in October, 2002. A third location was opened in Gresham, November 2002, and a 4th location opened within Princeton Athletic club in Vancouver, WA January 2004.
The emphasis in our clinics is upon achieving superior functional outcomes, in a cost effective manner, all in a warm caring environment. Recognizing that each of our patients are unique, we focus our care upon individual needs. We see that focus as being critical to the overall success of our patient's recovery process.
We are dedicated to the patients, physicians, and communities we serve. It is our belief that communication with each of our patients and physicians to be very important and feel superior outcomes are facilitated through superior communication.
